ICYMI: Witnessing the Chaos at the Southern Border

On Monday, I visited the southern border in Eagle Pass, TX with some of my congressional colleagues from Texas and beyond. I have been to the border many times, but I have never seen it this bad! It is an absolute disaster and a sad issue for our country. A record number of illegals came across in just the 24-hour period before we arrived, nearing 11,000 encounters - this number does not include "gotaways!" The photos and videos I took do not do this crisis justice, and this is only a very small portion of the border that DPS and Border Patrol at Eagle Pass can "monitor." This is a national security issue, a public health crisis, and above all, an invasion that will fundamentally change our country. This catastrophe is orchestrated by the left to destroy American's lives, keep liberals in power, and bolster their radical agenda.

President Biden and Border Czar Kamala are nowhere to be found while our country is being invaded. A complete and utter disaster.

Our Experience:

We started the morning in a meeting with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) then had lunch with the incredible local law enforcement officers in Eagle Pass. We then went to a migrant processing facility that was completely overwhelmed! The facility has a capacity for about 1,000 migrants, but when we were they there were nearly 5,000! To end the day, we toured the border, saw the concertina wire that Border Patrol had been ordered by the Biden Administration to cut, and witnessed the surge of migrants that were, and still are, continuously coming through the wire.
