It’s a matter of politics.

John -

Dr. West has been standing in solidarity with working people all his life.

This week, Dr. West stood in solidarity with striking autoworkers in New York and Michigan. At the strike at Ford Wayne Assembly Plant, he called out President Biden for empty gestures:

“I can't stand greedy bosses. I can't stand profit-obsessed owners that treat workers as if they are less than human. I know the president was here yesterday with symbolic gestures; they're empty if they don't follow through. He broke the back of railway workers' strikes. We need more than pretty words. You've got to follow through because we're talking about issues of life and death. We talk about issues of dignity…It's a matter of morality, and it's a matter of politics.” - Dr. Cornel West

The Democratic Party and Republican Party will never deliver for workers. We need a leader who stands with workers and prioritizes people over profits.
