(It sounds bizarre if you don’t follow these trends, but trust me, it’s a whole thing right now.) Well, my “Roman Empire” is our campaign’s budget. While Michael speaks with as many South Carolina voters as possible, I keep track of how much we’re spending and how much we’re bringing in the door from grassroots supporters like you. Because I’ve spent so much time looking at our spreadsheets, I can tell you (without looking) that we’re $3,372 short of our end-of-quarter goal. I can also tell you that, unlike Nancy Mace, we’re not getting checks from Big Pharma, Wall Street, and corporate PACs. Our message is resonating with voters of all stripes, and I know that if we hit all our grassroots fundraising goals, we can defeat Nancy Mace, flip this seat, and take back the House.
