Interpretive Center trail and restroom to have periodic closures Oct. 2-6
Scope & Impact: The trail and restroom at the Interpretive Center will be closed periodically for maintenance. Expect construction noise as deck boards near the restroom are replaced. The nearest available restrooms during this time will be at Marathon Park.
Where: The entrance area of the Interpretive Center between the kiosk and restroom. The center is located at 2600 Deschutes Parkway, Olympia.
When: 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 to Friday, Oct. 6. The trail and restroom will be closed at various times during this work.
Why: DES is replacing aging deck boards between the kiosk and restroom for public safety.
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is performing this work.
