Our campaign and this incredible grassroots team made history when I ran for Senate in 2012 — even when others wrote us off. With your help, I became the first openly gay Senator in our nation.

But I didn’t run to make history — I ran to make life better for folks like you and me. That’s why I’ve been a tireless advocate for equality since, because every one of us deserves the opportunity to live openly and authentically.

Meanwhile, extreme Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to undo our hard-won victories. The 2023 legislative session has seen hundreds of bills designed to roll back LGBTQ+ rights, particularly targeting transgender youth.

Even still, I refuse to be discouraged. I will always fight to be a voice for the LGBTQ+ community in the Senate, but to do so, I really need your help to win reelection in Wisconsin’s ultra-competitive Senate race.
