Dear Friend,

We’re excited to see many of you tomorrow in Augusta for the meeting of the Maine Climate Council! We have a packed agenda for the day, starting at 9 a.m., and wanted to share some last-minute information to help prepare you for the day.

  • If you have not yet registered for the meeting, please do as soon as possible. If you are joining us in person at the Augusta Civic Center, please email me at [email protected]. If you are intending to join the meeting virtually, please register for the Zoom webinar at this link.

  • Parking is ample at the Augusta Civic Center. However, we encourage sharing transportation options if you can. You can find a carpool using GO Maine, with instructions available here.

  • For those joining us in person, there will be opportunities to respond to polls and other prompts through your mobile phone. Each table will have a QR code to scan that will take you to the poll or prompt, so please make sure you have your device handy. If you need help with the QR code, or wish to respond to the prompt another way, please let a member of our staff know.

  • In advance of the meeting, we have circulated a brief public survey about climate action in Maine to help inform the upcoming work of the Council and the working groups. The link to the survey is here. We encourage you to respond, and to share it with your networks.

Thank you again for your partnership in our work! If you have any questions in advance of tomorrow’s meeting, please let me know.

Regards,

Amalia (Molly) Siegel
Maine Climate Council Coordinator
