McCarthy said our Republican opponent is an advocate for lower taxes, but unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Here’s the truth: She lobbied for the GOP tax bill that capped the SALT deduction and took money out of the pockets of hard-working New Jerseyans.

As a mom of four, I understand the needs of New Jersey families. That’s why I led the fight to repeal the SALT deduction in the House and worked across the aisle to advance a measure that would lighten the tax burden the SALT cap created.

I will keep fighting until that measure becomes law, but I won't be able to do it if we don’t have the resources to compete with the deep pockets bankrolling our opponent’s campaign.
