Blacks & Hispanics top the list of crime victims. The homeless deserve real help, not help in their addictions.

Most Black Murder Victims Killed in 3 Council Districts |
| |
|
The greatest share of black homicide victims comes from three districts that cover the majority of South Dallas: Councilman Adam Bazaldua’s District 7 has reported 20 black murder victims, Councilman Tennell Atkins's District 8 reported 18, and Councilwoman Carolyn King Arnold’s District 4 reported 15. These deaths are a direct result of the policies championed by these councilmembers
While the City Council lectures residents, violent crime continues to rise, placing every Dallasite in danger. The lack of police presence in South Dallas is not “alleviating” alleged racism, it is only leading to more death and destruction in black neighborhoods. We want to know why our officials can’t keep us safe—all of us! Join KDS and email these three council members to ask why they allow South Dallas residents to suffer!

Dallas’s Mayor Eric Johnson has announced that he is switching to the Republican Party. Johnson cites disillusionment with Democrat policies that have “exacerbated crime and homelessness” across the country! The mayor says the future of America’s cities depends on “law and order and fiscal conservatism.” Contact Mayor Johnson to show your appreciation for his commitment to Dallas’s safety! |

Texas Group Distributes Crack Pipes |
The federal government is now distributing crack pipes to drug addicts as part of its so-called “harm reduction plan.” In Texas, the group El Paso Alliance received $800,000 to distribute “smoke kits” containing crack pipes to homeless vagrants and other addicts. This program comes from the same failed philosophy of enablement that produced damaging “Housing First” policies. The homeless deserve real help, not help in their addictions! Read more...

Frightening Texas 'Jugging' Robbery Caught On Camera |
You can never relax in Dallas. Most residents have experienced a vagrant asking for money after withdrawing from an ATM, but now you have to worry about a gang of criminals following you home and robbing you at gunpoint. DPD needs to move from 3,000 to 4,000 police officers ASAP. We can’t let criminals run rampant in our city! Read more...

Man Dies After Being Shot In South Dallas |
There is no other way to put it: South Dallas is a warzone. DPD is already woefully understaffed, but due to the pro-crime sentiments of our City Council and District Attorney Creuzot’s refusal to prosecute criminals, crime in South Dallas has exploded. Blacks & Hispanics suffer the most when crime is high. Read more...

Each week the KDS team drives its planned route through Dallas photo-documenting and cataloguing illegal encampments to inform the city of these locations. Our team livestreams these activities giving the community a first-hand look at the vagrancy crisis in Dallas. In this episode, we analyze the disgusting contents of a vagrant slum at LBJ and SH-75. Watch here! |

District 13 Councilwoman Gay Willis's
"Canine Camp" |
We named this camp in Gay Donnell Willis’s District 13 “Canine Camp.” Out-of-control vagrancy places Dallas residents in danger in innumerable ways. You can see an unleashed dog sleeping beside this camp. Can we trust that vagrants will control their animals when innocent people walk by? Enabling vagrants makes Dallas dangerous! |

|
District 2 Councilman Jesse Moreno's
"Garden Party Camp" |
This camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2 has been dubbed “Garden Party Camp.” If you have ever driven through Deep Ellum, you’ll recognize this camp. Even though vagrancy is clearly illegal in Texas, the City of Dallas constantly ignores laws against urban camping and vagrancy. Responsible cities don't allow vagrants to camp out in public places day after day! |
| |
|
District 7 Councilman Adam Bazaldua's
"Couch Camp" |
This camp in Adam Bazaldua’s District 7 has earned the title “Couch Camp.” Couches appear on sidewalks and under highways all throughout Dallas. Where are these couches coming from? They’re stolen. How do vagrants transport them to their camps? That we don’t know but it must stop. The public square is not your living room! |

To Report an Encampment: Dial 3-1-1 or Call (214) 670-3111 and Click on your District Councilman to Email them with the Date and Camp Location.

Mission Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
