I want to start things off by thanking you. From the very beginning, we’ve been building our movement a little differently than others.

Our campaign refuses 100% of PAC donations. That’s not a small sacrifice. It means every cycle, we raise a few million less than we could if we operated like other campaigns.

But here’s why it’s worth it: Those PAC donations come with strings attached. And we’re free of all of those conditions, which allows us to fight unapologetically for young people, for working people, for people of color, for our seniors, and for everyone our economy is leaving behind.

My finance team let me know that we’re still running a little behind on our end-of-month goal. As of a few minutes ago, we were still $1,702 away. Can I count on your donation to help us close that gap?

Here’s why meeting this goal is so important: On March 3rd, voters across California will cast their ballots. Our campaign is doing everything in our power to mobilize those voters to help win our reelection and elect Bernie Sanders as the next President of the United States.

But those types of efforts take resources. So far, grassroots donations have allowed us to do a considerable amount of organizing — but these last few days are the absolute most important for our get-out-the-vote efforts.

That’s why taking action today is so important. Will you donate to help us close this final gap?

Thanks for your support. With your help, we’ll keep up the fight to build an economy that works for all.

Sincerely,

Ro Khanna
