Hey team, despite the Republican-led chaos we’ve seen from the House this month, Brittany Pettersen is still rolling up her sleeves and working to bring progress to CO-07 in every way she can.

Earlier this month, Brittany introduced a new bipartisan bill to address opioid overdoses and increase access to lifesaving overdose reversal medications like naloxone. Brittany believes that equipping our communities and workplaces with lifesaving tools will help confront the opioid epidemic and save lives.

She also introduced the bipartisan Natural Disaster Property Protection Act , a bill that would ease the barriers that homeowners and business owners face when preparing their properties for natural disasters. This bill will allow Coloradans to better prepare for wildfires or extreme weather by cutting down on the bureaucracy and red tape that comes with protecting property.

In addition, Brittany has been working across the aisle to put forward a framework for averting a GOP-driven government shutdown — a completely manufactured crisis that would only harm our country.

Finally, Brittany traveled across the district this month to meet with local leaders and discuss the issues that are impacting Colorado communities. From a roundtable in Golden on violence prevention to a town hall on extreme weather in Buena Vista, Brittany will always put local communities first.

We’re so proud of Brittany’s work over the past month — but our end-of-quarter FEC deadline is quickly approaching, and we need your support to help her keep up the momentum in this critical re-election campaign.
