Did you hear the alarm bells going off?

Last week, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly gathered in New York City, and part of the events included a heads of state summit on pandemic preparedness.

This subgroup of member nations advanced a declaration on "pandemic prevention, preparedness and response" with the stated goal of eventually presenting it to the UN General Assembly for a vote.

However, the UN and the WHO -- a specialized agency within the United Nations on matters of international public health -- paraded the declaration as if it had been voted on by the entire UN General Assembly, rather than simply being agreed to by a subgroup of member nations.

As I discussed with Jim Roguski on Washington Watch, this act of political theater by the United Nations and World Health Organization is their attempt to create FOMO among member states suggesting everyone is in support of the WHO's proposed global pandemic treaty and amendments to international health regulations.

Yes, the same ones that missed the mark on everything regarding COVID are working towards adopting a universally binding treaty in May 2024 that would make them the global pandemic police.

In effect, the World Health Organization (WHO) wants the power to declare a global health emergency. It will shock you to find out what the WHO will be able to push as part of pandemic "preparedness and prevention."

If you guessed abortion on demand, gender identity ideology, and sex education for children that encourages harmful behavior, you'd be right.

FRC board chairman and former congresswoman Michele Bachmann has been tracking the WHO and this pandemic treaty from the start. She explained during our conversation on Washington Watch last week:

"If they don't like the way a country is dealing with LGBT issues or abortion or poverty or climate change, [the WHO] could weigh in. But it's even worse than that. They included more population control, what they call "one health"... In other words, Tony, this document is trying to pretend that it's dealing with the pandemics. It's actually a subterfuge for global government."

In essence the WHO's global governance grab is not simply about managing global health emergencies. This will allow unelected bureaucrats from around the world, with values often hostile to ours, to pressure member countries to adopt and finance their agendas.

We must protect American families and our constitutional freedoms without delay.

John, there is hope that we can stop this, but we must act now before it's too late.

The deadline for member nations to reject the WHO's proposed amendments to the international health regulations from last year is December 1^st, which means we only have 2 months for global leaders to wake up and stand up.

But that's not all!

Next week, the WHO's amendment working group is having a series of meetings to discuss even more amendments they want to make to the international health regulations. In the course of their meetings, they will be defining terms like "vaccine" and "pandemic," the scope of the regulations, and what they refer to as the global digital health certification network -- what most people refer to as a vaccine passport.

The WHO and the UN have made this process very complicated and are trying to do much of this in secret. But we at FRC are tracking WHO machinations and sounding the alarm, educating members of Congress and Americans across the country about this covert attempt to undermine our sovereignty.

It's time for the American people to stand up and for our congressmen and senators to wake up and say: NO!

We will not surrender our national sovereignty to global elitists.

Our rights come from God, not a government entity. America's Constitution is unique in that we have a Bill of Rights that protects the individual and our freedoms.

We must be willing to stand up for those freedoms.
