The Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline is Saturday, and I want to tell you why these deadlines are different than the others.
FEC quarterly deadlines are required by law and only happen four times a year. Afterward, we have to file a finance report with the FEC. The numbers on our final report reflect the resources we have for turning out the vote in Texas and flipping the House in Washington.
As Campaign Treasurer, I keep a close eye on our numbers and I’m happy to report that we’re making great progress toward our Q3 goal! We need to keep up our momentum, and these deadlines are a team effort. Any amount you can contribute would help a lot.
The Texas primary is less than six months away, and three people have filed to run against Lizzie.
We’ll need to talk to voters in Harris and Fort Bend counties—just like we have in past elections—about the great job Lizzie is doing for our district in Congress, like her efforts to lower prescription drug costs and to protect access to reproductive health care.
We’ll do that by sending mail, running ads, putting up yard signs, and knocking on doors.
Every contribution supports those efforts, and I’d really appreciate whatever you can spare ahead of Saturday’s deadline.
Thank you for your support!
