Radical House Republicans are currently holding the government hostage in an attempt to ram through a dangerous and extreme agenda that benefits Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters.

MAGA Republicans don’t care that a government shutdown will drain billions from our economy, force millions of brave men and women in uniform to serve unpaid, and rip away critical programs — like WIC — from mothers and working families. Thousands of children could lose access to their Headstart school programs. 

A functioning economy requires a functioning government that works for the people.
