Team,

In just one week, we will wrap up our final financial quarter of the general election. Shortly, I'll be asking you to contribute to my re-election before this major deadline, but I would like to share some thoughts with you about this race and what Kentucky means to me.

I am so proud to call the Bluegrass State my home. There's no place that Britainy and I would rather raise our two wonderful children. I am invested in continuing to make Kentucky the best place in the nation to work and raise a family — no matter your zip code.

Since I stepped into office, we've made tremendous strides forward for our Commonwealth. We have broken numerous economic records by creating tens of thousands of good-paying jobs and achieving the lowest unemployment rate in the state's history. We've expanded healthcare access, legalized medical marijuana and sports betting, and made key investments in infrastructure and social services.

Looking forward, I plan to keep breaking records, investing in our education systems, protecting our teachers’ and police officers’ pensions, and bringing even more good-paying jobs here to Kentucky. But I can't do that without your help.

This race is being called the most competitive in the nation. And my opponent is being bankrolled by billionaire donors and outside groups pouring millions of dollars into misleading TV ads to try to buy the election. I am counting on my grassroots supporters to step up and help me ensure we continue moving in the right direction.

So, team: Will you chip in before the quarter ends? With your support, we can continue moving Kentucky forward.
