Hey John, it’s Becca.
Transparency is incredibly important to me — both in the halls of Congress and on the campaign trail back home in Vermont. That’s why I need to be honest with you today and share that we are currently not on track to reach our Q3 email fundraising goal of $30,000.
Before I continue, if you’re able to donate today, here’s the link to chip in to my re-election campaign.
Fundraising is easily my least favorite part of running for office. I hate asking folks for their hard-earned money, but when you’re on the ballot every two years and run a grassroots-powered campaign, it’s unavoidable.
Every three months, our campaign has to submit a quarterly report to the Federal Election Commission. After the upcoming deadline on Sept. 30, everyone will be looking through these reports with a fine tooth comb — reporters, election analysts, and future opponents looking for any sign of weakness.
John, I’ve never taken your support for granted, and I’m honored to have you with me in this fight. I know that our grassroots movement has the strength and scrappiness needed to overcome whatever the GOP may throw our way in the weeks and months ahead, and hitting our goal will help us be as prepared as possible.
I hate to ask, but trust me, I wouldn’t if it wasn’t absolutely critical. Can I count on you to chip in and help close the fundraising gap ahead of Saturday’s end-of-quarter deadline?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
From the bottom of my heart: Thank you so much for being in this fight.
