We're facing a critical challenge in Texas. Right now, Attorney
General Ken Paxton lacks the authority to prosecute election
integrity cases. This means that when legitimate concerns of
election fraud arise, Texans must rely on their local District
Attorney, and in our big cities, they are left defenseless.

We firmly believe that every Texan should have confidence in our
elections. We're launching a petition that supports giving
Attorney General Paxton the power to take action against election

On December 15, 2021, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the
highest court in Texas for criminal cases, abruptly stripped the
Texas Attorney General's Office of all authority to prosecute
election fraud. In doing so, the court broke with over a century
of Texas Supreme Court precedent, the expressed will of the
legislature, and, in the process, made Texas elections
significantly less safe and less secure than other states.

Ensuring election integrity is truly the most important issue of
our time. Thanks to Senator Paul Bettencourt, the series of
well-documented election failures in Harris County resulted in
the removal of the problematic Harris County Elections
Administrator (Senate Bill 1750). Nonetheless, we remain vigilant
on all election integrity issues and want AG Paxton back in the
legal fight on election integrity.

Let's show the Radical Left that we, as Texans and freedom-loving
patriots, are united in our commitment to upholding the
principles that make our democracy strong. Your voice matters,
and together, we can ensure that our electoral process remains
free, fair, and secure.
