I’m not exaggerating when I say that this race is key for Democrats in 2024.
This seat is a critical piece of our efforts to take back the House majority. And with the presidency on the ballot this cycle, we have a golden opportunity to unseat MAGA extremist Mike Garcia and give CA-27 the true representation it deserves.
Winning CA-27 will be vital for the communities in this district. Right now, Mike Garcia is not representing our best interests. He voted to ban abortion, he voted to raise his own salary by $8,000, and recently instead of trying to work across the aisle, he is standing idly by while the government moves closer to a shutdown.
It’s clear: Mike Garcia must go. And with your help, George will get it done.
I am so proud to be on Team Whitesides. From his experience serving as Chief of Staff at NASA under President Obama, to his time as CEO at Virgin Galactic in the Antelope Valley where he created hundreds of jobs, to his nonprofit dedicated to addressing wildfires -- George has an incredible track record of serving our community.
But right now, George is facing an FEC reporting deadline at the end of the month. George’s fundraising progress from the past three months will become public, and everyone from Mike Garcia to members of the media will be combing over the report for any sign of weakness.
