Arizona for Abortion Access just began collecting signatures to enshrine the right to an abortion in Arizona’s Constitution.

Since day one, I’ve been fighting to protect abortion access in Arizona and stop any attempts to further restrict reproductive rights coming from the GOP-led state legislature.

I’m doing everything I can to uphold the belief the vast majority of Arizonans share — that the decision to have a child should rest solely between a woman and her doctor, not politicians.

That’s why I’ve vetoed every single piece of legislation that targets reproductive freedom, and I made birth control available over the counter across the state, but this new effort launched by Arizona for Abortion Access is something we all need to get behind in order to restore reproductive rights for generations to come.

Now that they’ve started collecting signatures, Arizona for Abortion Access will need ample resources to travel across the state, get the word out, and put pen to paper.
