Advocating in Albany for LGBTQ+ Youth

In partnership with multiple organizations, The Center led a group of LGBTQ+ Youth and Young Adults to Albany to present on the unique conditions LGBTQ+ youth in New York State face, to discuss the related findings of the 2021 NYS LGBT HHS Needs Assessment, and explore ideas for supportive government actions.

Join us on Tuesday, October 3, for our Fall RiseOut Action Team Social & Info Session and learn to build your advocacy skills, help plan advocacy campaigns that advance LGBTQ+ policies, and connect with other advocates in your community. Plus, you’ll meet and network with current members.
