This isn’t a statement stemming from either side of the aisle. It’s a statement that I, – a voter and mother – feel deeply. And it is a statement I have heard family and friends – Republican, Democrat, and Independent – make many times over the last few election cycles.

Things might seem calm right now, but soon we’ll be in the heat of the election cycle. For us at New Politics, that means directing all our resources into supporting candidates across the country.
