This is a massive win for our youth-led movement to end gun violence across the country.

Alongside young activists, organizers, and leaders like Alexandria, I’m proud to have fought for the creation of a federal office of gun violence prevention.

Ending gun violence is what called me to action – both as the National Organizing Director for March for our Lives and as the first of my generation to be elected to Congress.

My generation has been demanding action. And today, we have real, tangible progress in this fight. Not incremental progress, but a massive push forward. This is a major step forward to addressing our gun violence epidemic with action and policy.
