John, this is a massive win for our movement to end gun violence across the country.

After the 2018 Parkland school shooting, I was honored to form relationships with several of the young activists who started March for Our Lives. Together, we called for major reforms to prevent further tragedies – including advocating for the creation of a federal office of gun violence prevention.

One of those March for Our Lives activists, Rep. Maxwell Frost – the first of his generation to be elected to Congress – has made ending gun violence a top priority. Today, we have real, tangible progress in this fight. Not incremental progress, but a massive push forward.
