Disgraced Attorney General Ken Paxton's office was directly across from mine when I first started in the legislature, and we have taken very different paths since then.
While I fight for working families and against Abbott's cruel weaponization of hatred against migrants, Paxton has been busy breaking the law and embarrassing Texas.
Ken Paxton abused his power to carry out the wishes of a wealthy donor, which is both everything wrong with modern politics and, essentially, the standard operating procedure of way too many Texas politicians.
And yet he was acquitted of ALL 16 articles of impeachment!
