We've got two super-fun events in the DFW area in October, and the deadlines are rapidly approaching, so I wanted to make sure you heard about them!

The Promise

A group of us wanted to go see Jonathan Stickland and his daughter Carlie sing and perform in The Promise, so we've opened it up to everyone as a sort of family reunion! 

We started as NE Tarrant Tea Party, and Stickland was obviously a favorite. Dozens of us worked so hard and made the best memories on his campaigns, but years go by, and we lose touch.  So come on, friends -- past and present -- let's do a trip to Glenrose together!  We can carpool, go to dinner beforehand, and enjoy the uplifting show.

Grassroots GameDay

Our big softball match-up with grassroots vs electeds isn't until Oct 28, but the deadline to order your tshirt is Oct 13! Will you wear the blue shirt for the True Texans, or will you wear the red shirt for the Lone Star Fighters?  You choose!

We love hanging with our fellow True Texans because it's just great to be around like-minded folks and laugh sometimes!  I really hope you'll make an effort to join in the activities we plan.  It's all about strengthening our army. We need you!
