As we have mentioned before, two of our sources of revenue, advertising and list building, have both performed weaker than expected. As a result, earlier this year, we made deep financial cuts and other changes in hopes of putting us on a sustainable footing.

Finally, after months of work, we are starting to see the impacts of those changes. We have seen our revenue improve but we are not out of the woods yet.

Our saving grace during this time has been the Daily Kos community donating what they can so we can continue producing the quality of work that you trust from us. I was worried that last month we would not be able to reach our fundraising goal. Thankfully, yet again, Daily Kos readers and activists rallied and supported our work.

However, this month, our fundraising has drastically slowed and I am worried that we will miss our goal, by quite a lot. We are currently only at 75 percent of the goal, with only days left to reach it.
