I hope this message finds you well. I have some crucial news to share.

Tomorrow, I will be testifying before Congress about the critical challenges of Artificial Intelligence (such as deep fakes) to the integrity of our election system. This is a pivotal moment to bring these critical issues to the forefront of the national conversation.

Election officials nationwide, myself included, are increasingly alarmed by the potential misuse of this technology. It can create highly convincing images and videos that blur the lines between reality and fiction, posing a significant risk to our electoral process.

Despite recent legislative efforts to combat technology-driven disinformation, we anticipate that this threat will only intensify as we approach the 2024 presidential election. It's a sobering fact that we have to confront.

This is why I’m leading with the truth and routinely dispelling disinformation - and I need your help. Our quarterly fundraising deadline is this month and I need another 100 people to chip in before I testify to show our momentum. John , can I count on you to chip in $5 or more right now to help fight back against disinformation? [[link removed]]
