Friend, today is World Tourism Day!
New Jersey’s tourism industry is a vital part of our state’s economy, and I’m excited to continue to work with Governor Murphy to grow this industry statewide. As Secretary of State, I worked hard to expand New Jersey’s tourism industry following the sharp declines we saw during and directly following the pandemic.
But thanks to this administration's hard work, we expect to see record numbers by the end of the year. New Jersey’s tourism revenue is projected to reach a record high of $47.9 billion for 2023, and forecasters expect an even bigger year for 2024!
Our state is lucky to be full of incredible and rich experiences for folks worldwide to come and visit. From our incredible shore and boardwalks, which Governor Murphy has injected $100 million into fixing, to our wineries, breweries, and lavender farms, I’m proud to say visitors to New Jersey are never short on new experiences to try and explore.
In honor of World Tourism Day, add your name to show that you’re with us and our administration’s work to continue growing and improving New Jersey’s rich tourism industry. [[link removed]]
