Dear friend,
It’s a big day for us at Centre for Mental Health as we’ve been in the Houses of Parliament launching A mentally healthier nation – a document proposing cross-government policies to improve prevention, equality and support in the next decade.
We at Centre for mental health have been proud to lead the process of consulting on and writing A mentally healthier nation on behalf of more than 30 organisations with an interest in mental health, collectively representing millions of people.
With a maximum of 16 months left before the next General Election, we will all be urging political parties to help us build a mentally healthier nation by adopting these policies in their manifestos. Please help us by sharing the document and social media messages, especially with MPs, parliamentary candidates and councillors.
At the heart of A mentally healthier nation is the call to eradicate mental health inequalities. Our latest fact sheet focuses on those faced by Muslims, highlighting significant barriers that urgently need to be addressed.
