It’s not just Congress: Americans are becoming more polarized and more isolated across the political spectrum. There’s a lack of trust between people and a lack of faith in our institutions.

I understand why people don’t trust the House when our supposed leaders like Speaker McCarthy won’t do anything to help them.

When Democrats were in charge, we passed a landmark infrastructure package and climate action law, lowered prescription drug prices, took action against gun violence, and passed marriage equality.

It is essential that we stay on track to win back the house in 2024 and continue the important work we do.
