My team and I are getting ready for our next FEC public filing deadline in just a few days. This deadline is a really big deal for our campaign, so I wanted to share a few reasons why it’s so important.

But before I do, will you chip in $5 or more to help us reach our $10,000 goal?

Here are three reasons why this upcoming deadline is so important:

[1] After the deadline on Saturday, we’re required to publicly report our final numbers. Everyone, from Democrats to Republicans, will be keeping a close eye on how we’re doing and making judgments about whether or not we have what it takes to flip this seat.

[2] We’re running in a competitive district. TX-24 is key to taking back the house and defeating extremism in Texas up and down the ballot, so it’s absolutely critical that we do everything we can to prepare for next year’s election.

[3] We’re going up against a MAGA extremist with over $1 million in her campaign’s war chest. We need as much support as we can – especially in a moment like this – to ensure we have enough resources to stay competitive in this race.
