As Washington prepares to ram a budget deal through Congress, the fog of war is thick with conflicting information.

Some sources say to avoid blowback from a government shutdown on October 1, establishment Republicans are looking to cut a deal with Democrats – including more money for Ukraine and even killing the impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden.

Other sources say Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is working out a deal with the House Freedom Caucus to pass a short-term funding bill that reduces spending and includes border security measures.

Of course, we have every reason to expect the worse is more likely – despite McCarthy promising he would stand strong on budget reform in order to be elected Speaker.


Now that he is the Speaker, Kevin McCarthy appears to be going back on his word.

This is the make-or-break moment for Kevin McCarthy. Tell Speaker McCarthy RIGHT NOW: no more reckless spending, no more money for the war, no compromise on the budget Americans were promised!

Here’s the simple truth: The bipartisan War Party in Washington is holding Americans as political hostages.

While they hand out measly $700 checks to taxpayers whose lives were destroyed by the fires in Maui, Washington would send tens of billions of dollars to Ukraine without hesitation.

And if the government shuts down on October 1, we’ll be bombarded with stories about the federal workforce not getting paid on time (even though, every time we’ve had a shutdown, the workers always were repaid).

Then they too will become political hostages for more money.

Most American bureaucrats might have to forego a paycheck for a few days or a few weeks until Congress passes a budget and makes up for the lost salaries (for time that wasn’t worked in most cases).

But perhaps ironically, American taxpayers will continue to pay for seeds and fertilizer for Ukrainian farmers, pay the salaries of over 57,000 Ukrainian bureaucrats, and pay to help keep small businesses in Ukraine afloat.


Meanwhile, our national debt has crossed the $33 TRILLION mark, inflation is spiraling out of control, and the Fed continues to print their funny money to back it all up.


Any member of Congress who would condone this behavior is showing their true allegiance: not to the American people, but to the Washington Swamp.

Kevin McCarthy became Speaker by promising the American people budget deals wouldn’t be done the same as they always have.

If he breaks this core promise, he can never be trusted again.

Tell Kevin McCarthy right now: No political hostage-taking is acceptable.

Tell Kevin McCarthy: Keep your promises: No compromise on any budget that does not significantly cut spending, as we were promised!

Both Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) have boasted in the media the war in Ukraine has been “cheap” . . . it’s been a “bargain” that we’ve been able to attack Russia using Ukraine’s military instead of our own.

That shows what they really think about the people of Ukraine. The cost of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian lives in what is already by far the bloodiest war in the 21st century means nothing to them.

Nor do they care about the over-$100 billion price tag the war has cost us already.

Patriot, if there’s ever been a moment to contact Speaker McCarthy and tell him NO more American support for the debacle in Ukraine and the out-of-control spending, it’s now.

Contact Speaker Kevin McCarthy RIGHT NOW and DEMAND he honor his promise to reform the federal budget.

Right now, the IRS is hiring thousands of new workers to ramp up their ability to extract more money from us than ever.

The budget is completely out of control – even while Americans are suffering from sky-high inflation and natural disasters they are demanding more and more money for liberty-shredding bureaucrats and costly, unwinnable wars.


If Kevin McCarthy breaks the promises he made to become Speaker, it only proves the Swamp is alive and well.
