john - In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in just $5 before our critical end-of-quarter deadline, but first I want to let you know why I’m counting on your support.
Over the past month, Kevin McCarthy and MAGA Republicans in the House have led us straight towards a dangerous government shutdown, launched an impeachment inquiry without evidence, and shown just how important it is for us to take back the House in 2024.
Republicans have only a five-seat majority. We can – and must – retire McCarthy from the speakership next year, but to do it, we need to keep critical swing districts like WA-08 blue.
Winning in a purple district like ours is never easy. I already have multiple Republican challengers, and the NRCC is already running ads attacking me. To keep WA-08 blue and reclaim a Democratic majority, we can’t afford to miss any fundraising goal we set.
While a $5 donation may not sound like much, this campaign relies on thousands of grassroots supporters chipping in what they can, when they can. Your support will go a long way towards helping us win this district and the House majority next year.
