John, I want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate the official launch of my next campaign.

I had an amazing time getting to know across the district and telling them how excited I am to continue the work I've begun in Congress.
This is just the beginning, John. My team and I are going to need your early support to keep up the momentum we've built. Will you set up a monthly donation of as little as $10 today? [[link removed]]

John, with my official launch so close to our team's End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline, there's not a lot of time to tell you why your support means so much. But I'll break down what I told folks yesterday:
FIRST: Helping people in my community has always meant a lot to me. From my local homeless shelter in Humboldt Park to my desk in the Illinois House of Representatives, I've built a reputation as someone who works hard to get our residents the resources they need to thrive.
THEN: As a freshman in Congress, the first Latina from the Midwest, and the only member of both chambers to come from a mixed-status household, I felt a personal responsibility to tackle some of our biggest issues: comprehensive immigration reform, affordable housing, and veterans' benefits.
NOW: I'm running for Congress again because I want to continue being a strong voice for my constituents, and I want to continue fighting for legislation that'll make our lives better.
Like I said, the work is just getting started. My team and I are relying on grassroots support to get what we need to kick my next campaign off on the right foot. This is going to take more than one-time donations, John – will you establish a monthly donation of any amount? [[link removed]]
