John,
A wholly unscrupulous person like Lauren Boebert can’t be relied on for much, but there’s one thing you can absolutely take to the bank: when she feels threatened, she will fight like hell to cling to power and influence.
We’ve been counting on this. It’s part and parcel to our strategy for holding Boebert accountable on multiple fronts: taking her to court to litigate her baseless attacks on our character and our methods, both of which we take very seriously; and taking her unfitness for public office directly to the voters, the people who may decide whether Lauren Boebert will qualify for a lifetime congressional pension, were she to be reelected next year.
And in no small part due to the consistent, tireless hard work of our supporters, courageous whistleblowers helping to expose Boebert’s actions, and contributors who step up when we ask for help, Boebert is on the ropes — and lashing out pretty much as we had expected.
So at the end of this eventful month, and as we approach the quarterly deadline for reporting our fundraising numbers, we need to stay vigilant.
If you are with us in this contest, you know that we have to remain steady, calm, and strong at all times. And so I want to humbly ask if you can pitch in to the cause — $25, $50, or more, at this critical moment — and buckle up, because things are about to get wild:
