Hi John,
Strategy has become one of those words that we use so often it's almost lost its meaning. What do you mean when you say strategy? What do I mean? Are we saying the same thing?
The truth is, we’re all natural strategists. From simple things, like working out the best way to get to an appointment on time to more serious challenges like figuring out how to meet our work deadlines and still finding a time to rest. Strategy is hard coded into our bodies. The question for organizers is: how do we become intentional about developing strategies that bring more people in, enable new people to take leadership, and that can be learned from so you can improve each time.
