The Biden administration awarded $600 million to produce COVID-19 tests that you can order at no cost. I want to share with you resources to receive free COVID-19 tests to your home as cold and flu season begins.
If you have tested positive or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, the state of California offers a FREE COVID-19 Telehealth Program for all individuals over the age of 12. This program is free of charge to anyone who is uninsured or may otherwise have difficulty obtaining health care. Make your first appointment or call (833)-686-5051.
COVID-19 takes not only a physical toll, but a financial, mental, and emotional one as well. The Riverside County Office of Education has compiled a list of resources that include therapy and counseling services, nutrition and food assistance, and rental, utility, and family burial financial assistance.
It is up to all of us to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
