It seems increasingly likely that the GOP is going to shut down the government.

They have time for a sham impeachment. They have time to vote on ideological purity tests to strip members of the Military of their right to reproductive health care or to restrict funding for Ukraine in their fight to defend democracy and prevent a wider war that could involve US Troops.

But they can’t get their act together to fund the government — to make sure the Military gets paid, on time, for their service to our nation.

It’s just unbelievable.

A few weeks ago, we reached out and asked if some of you would support us sending a few Veterans up to DC to meet with Senators and Members of Congress and demand action. The response was overwhelming.

So here’s the deal: We’re in.

We’re budgeting this out right now, and we’re going to fly in as many Veterans as possible. And here’s a part you can help out with personally:

A flight from swing-state Arizona costs anywhere from $170 to $300, depending on the day and the time. If you and 29 others chip in $10 each, that is one Veteran in DC. We’ll fly in Vets from all over, but that’s just one example.

So how about it: Chip in $10, and help fly a Veteran to DC. Or chip in more, maybe $25. Or chip in even more than that — whatever you think is the right amount. Let’s take DC by storm.
