Notice of Vacancies in State Boards, Councils and Committees

September 26, 2023 ? The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State today released notice of vacancies for various state boards, councils and committees that are accepting applications. Minnesotans are encouraged to apply and serve in demonstration of public service. The following new vacancies will be closing shortly but have received no applications at this time. We highly encourage members of the public to apply before boards reach a final appointment deadline.

Additionally, in the second table, there are new seats (either added to pre-existing boards, or on newly created groups) which have yet to be filled.

(Applications that are several years old may have initially received applications, but due to 15.0597, Subd. 5, "Applications received by the secretary shall be deemed to have expired one year after
receipt of the application").

We recommend that if you are interested in being considered for multiple positions on the same board, you write to the board's staff contact, (listed at the top of each board's webpage), letting them know.
