The EMS World Expo was the first time since before the pandemic that STOP THE BLEED® hit the road.

We were able to show off our new STOP THE BLEED® booth and introduce the Coalition’s new

STOP THE BLEED® Licensing Programs to the attendees.

We had the first public unveiling of the

STOP THE BLEED® Response Point station –

it turned out to be the hit of the conference.

We demoed the new STOP THE BLEED® Response Point Station to hundreds of attendees.

Through our partnership with TacMed, over 80 people were trained and qualified to teach STOP THE BLEED®.

Finally, we had lots of great partners helping to spread the word about STOP THE BLEED®, including Teleflex!

And a HUGE thank you to the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health. We could not have done this without your support!

The success of EMS World

has us pumped for the other events we’ll be showcasing STOP THE BLEED® in the near future in New York, New Jersey and Florida. It’s also made us interested in attending more conferences and expos.

To do that we need your help:

First: If your organization is exhibiting at any event the rest of this year or sometime in 2024 and you have space in your exhibit area for STOP THE BLEED®, please let us know. We’d love to partner with you.

“I am passionate about facilitating lifesaving care for my community, my fellow deputies, and myself. To me, basic trauma medicine should be as foundational as knowing how to file your taxes. Everyone should have access to basic training and equipment that can facilitate their survival on their worst day. I recently saw a North American Rescue post stating that the average person is involved in 1.5-2 critical incidents over the course of their life. Cops are involved in 800 or more on average over a full career. Regardless of if you’ve signed up to wear a badge or not, I’m passionate about inspiring the masses to be prepared for that inevitable moment when everything goes wrong.”

Connect with the Stop the Bleed Coalition

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.

STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
