We need to tell you about a big deadline we’re facing, John.
On Saturday, we close the books on the fundraising quarter. After the quarter ends, we are legally required to submit a public report detailing just how many folks have chipped in and how much support we have for our SEEC Members.
Everyone – from journalists to supporters and even MAGA Republicans – will scour this report for any sign of weakness. We’re counting on you to help us submit a strong report to show that SEEC PAC stands with our members fighting for pro-climate initiatives in Congress.
Our SEEC Members are working incredibly hard in Congress to strengthen the fight against climate change. We just welcomed our largest freshman class of SEEC Members ever. But many of our members come from ultra-competitive districts, and National Republicans have put 18 SEEC Members on their list of seats they want to flip.
Supporting our SEEC Members is critical in the fight against climate change, but we simply can’t do it without your help. That’s why we set this goal, so we can have the resources we need to keep and expand the SEEC Members working in Congress advocating for pro-climate policies.
Thanks to your help in 2022, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand. You can click here to only get our most important messages, or you can unsubscribe.
