Kevin McCarthy must resign as speaker, or be voted out by the House. Immediately. His incompetence, cowardice and refusal to work across the aisle is sending us crashing headfirst into a government shutdown, endangering our economy and our security. Instead of working with Democrats for a bipartisan compromise -- the only thing that can pass both houses of Congress -- McCarthy has tried in vain to appease a handful of GOP lunatics.
