Congressman Bishop is locked in a tight race with an opponent handpicked by the national GOP.
This opponent doesn’t have the history of public service or the roots in Middle and Southwest Georgia that Congressman Bishop does, and they haven’t dedicated their career to faithfully representing their constituents the way Congressman Bishop has.
But the polls are still neck-and-neck due to the influx of dark money from special interest groups outside of our district.
It’s a scary scenario, and a very realistic one.
