I am buzzing.

I’ve just come off stage after my first Autumn Conference speech as leader of our great party, setting out our vision of a brighter future for our country and a fair deal for the British people.

I spoke about the big challenges facing our country – from the cost-of-living crisis to the climate crisis to the NHS crisis. The parents struggling to feed their children and the patients struggling to get a doctor’s appointment.

And I spoke about the main cause of all these problems: this awful, out-of-touch Conservative Government. The way they have neglected our NHS, plunged politics into chaos, and broken our relationship with Europe.

I set out our ambitious plan to build the economy of the future, lead the world on tackling climate change, fix the NHS and social care, and transform our political system for good.

I am leaving Conference more energised than ever.

This week I’ve seen the policies, the people and the passion that will get the Conservatives out of government and deliver the real change the British people need.

As I said today, I firmly believe that we are the strongest campaigning force in British politics. And now comes our big test: the General Election.

So let’s get out there and campaign for it. I’ll see you on the doorstep!
