The Inflation Reduction Act jumpstarted America’s efforts to cut carbon pollution. But, we need to do more in order to ensure a healthy climate. The Energy Innovation Act contains the single most powerful tool remaining – an economy-wide carbon fee.

CCL has been advocating for the policy in the Energy Innovation Act for more than a decade, and we came incredibly close to getting it passed in 2022.
