But here's the problem: Sherrod is facing his toughest race yet, and experts say the outcome could decide Senate control. Now, the GOP is attacking him left and right, and National Republicans are on track to spend millions to flip this seat.
With a huge FEC fundraising deadline coming up, Sherrod is falling short of the grassroots resources he needs to fight back and win.
