John,
Switzerland just quietly greenlit a cruel plan to wipe out 60% of its wolf population, but together we can stop the massacre.
Under the new plan, which was launched with NO consultation, the Swiss government will slaughter entire packs of majestic wolves. And the clock is ticking – on December 1 the massacre of this precious endangered species is set to begin.
Swiss environmental organizations are mobilising as fast as they can in response to this horrifying news – but they don’t have much time and need our help.
Together, we can quickly work with local groups to launch a massive campaign to stop the slaughter by mounting so much public outrage that the government has no choice but to change course.
If enough of us chip in, we can target the main decision maker, head of the Swiss FDA, by showing overwhelming opposition to this carnage – leafleting all over his neighborhood and hiring mobile billboards to follow his every move. Can you help stop the wolf massacre?

In the 19th and 20th centuries, the wolf population across Europe plummeted as humans killed them in vast numbers in an effort to protect their livestock. In recent years, conservation efforts have helped this majestic species recover...but now that progress hangs in balance.
Swiss voters made their desire to protect endangered species clear in 2020, when 52% of voters rejected a hunting law that would have made it easier to kill endangered species such as wolves.
Despite the vote, the Swiss parliament passed a new law in December 2022 that allows the wolf population to be regulated. Then, just days ago, the government proposed a regulation that will wipe out 19 of the 31 wolf packs remaining in Switzerland!
This push to exterminate the entire population stems from the fact that wolves can attack farmers' flocks. And while many advocates accept that on occasion it is necessary to kill wolves that attack livestock, this plan moves far away from ‘justified’ shootings and instead will mean the slaughter of entire packs that have caused no harm.
We can’t let them get away with it.
The slaughter is set to start in just weeks – can you chip in to help mobilise the Swiss public in opposition to this cruel plan and make sure government officials are overwhelmed with pressure to stop the massacre?
