They're trying state by state to ban President Trump from the ballot, filing a litany of lawsuits, claiming he is "disqualified" from office under an absurd reading of the 14th Amendment.
It is the most dangerous attack on your constitutional right to vote I've ever seen. The implications of these cases go far beyond President Trump's candidacy. The very fabric of our constitutional republic is at stake.
We intervened in the very first of these outrageous lawsuits, and we just filed a motion to dismiss the case, representing the Colorado Republican Committee. We've also filed on behalf of the Oklahoma Republican Party and are already representing the Republican Party of West Virginia. Now we're looking at intervening in other cases and representing more new clients.
Each of these cases is destined for the U.S. Supreme Court.
