This evening attention will be paid to what Marx called the "productive forces" (the dynamic interplay between workers, what happens on the shop floor, technology) and how to understand these processes today. AI is happening – what will be its impact?

Class structure in the U.S. together with what are called "special questions" in Marxism, that is, the manner in which people of color, women, and LGBTQ people are oppressed will also be reviewed. What's the relationship between the class struggle and the battle democracy in today's circumstances?
