Dear John,

We are entering conference season and the political Westminster is rife with chatter about the next General Election. We cannot wait!

Every extra day of this desperate government means more privilige to polluters and poshies, and less protection for people and planet. It does not have to be like that, and we are determined to make it stop!

We won't speculate on the dates of the General Election, but we will choose our candidates shortly, so stay tuned for an email with a call for nominations.

In the meantime, we know for sure that the London Mayoral and Assembly Election is coming up in May 2024 and London Greens are aiming high: a fair voting system for the Assembly means Greens get Assembly seats proportionate to London wide votes. We have 3 amazing Assembly members already, just imagine we had 4 or 5?
