As Alyse’s Finance Director, I come to the office every day really excited to do my job.

Each day, we get more good news about how much progress we’re making in our efforts to bring change to Alaska by defeating Don Young. We’re so proud that thanks to you, we’ve outraised Don Young two quarters in a row and raised over $1,000,000.

Now, there’s one more milestone we’ve yet to reach: having the cash on hand advantage:

The money you are sending us doesn’t just sit in a bank. We’re spending it on building the biggest grassroots team Alaska has ever seen so everyone hears Alyse’s story and her message. Everyone needs to know the Alyse we know.

However, most of the money Don Young is raising from Washington special interests isn’t being spent...yet. After 47 years, he doesn’t need to make sure people know who he is. He’s waiting until we’re in the final stretch of the campaign to spend it on attacking Alyse and our movement.

I’ll be blunt: We need to catch up, and we need to do it fast.
